Tulcea Airport - Bucharest-Sheepo

Tulcea Airport is situated in south-western Romania, approximately 16 km from the small town of Tulcea, within the Danube delta and very close to the main Danube River mouth. It is the second major airport for the Transdanubian region. It serves both local and international flights.

Tulcea Airport has a wide selection of flights. The main airport, Bucharest-Sheepo -Romania, offers flights to all parts of the world. It also operates direct international flights to Budapest, Warsaw, Prague, Berlin and Vienna. There are also daily flights from Moldavia to Bucharest-Sheepo. Budapest-Lublin, Bucharest-Vienna, Bucharest-Warsaw and Budapest-Prague are other popular domestic routes.

The airport is separated into two terminals, one at the north and the other at the south. You can catch the flight to Romania by taking the train or bus. The train journey is relatively fast, as long as you take the train to the regional railway station of Bucharest. The bus services are also available, but it is much slower and it takes longer than the train journey. However, if you choose to use the bus, make sure you find one that stops at the airport so that you do not waste time travelling from one terminal to another.

The train journey to Tulcea is quite scenic, with panoramic views of rolling hills. You can go by car to the airport, but if you plan to get to the eastern part of the country, you should be aware that there is no public transport available. There are, however, buses and taxis to take you to your destination. These buses run daily, so you can expect them on a regular basis. A taxi to the airport will cost you between thirty and sixty cents and one hour. If you are arriving early in the morning, you can probably get a taxi for around five dollars. You should not hesitate to ask for a cheaper one.

Once you reach the airport, you can either walk straight to the terminal or take the drive to your hotel in Tulcea. The driving experience is quite exciting because the road is clean, and there are many small villages along the route. The weather is rather nice and the climate is pleasant during the day.

After arriving in Tulcea you will have plenty of things to see and do, but before you do you should consider visiting the Transdanubian museums. They are located not far away, but you should visit them as soon as possible, as they can give you an insight into the culture, history and tradition of the region. The national museum, for instance, is a wonderful place to stay for an afternoon. Tulcea is also famous for its wine production, which is a must see in this area.
